Myrano turns 2.0 and gets a new menu

Myrano has a new menu which should make it easier for you to find your way around. Some of the buttons will only be visible when there are people nearby. And the Interesting button will only be highlighted when there are some especially interesting people around.

Finding your next friend or customer

When you visit a crowded venue, Myrano will quickly help you sort out the nearby avatars into recognise familiar faces and and identify avatars you have never seen before. But who should you say "Hi" to first? Myrano can give you a hint.

Just click "Interesting" and Myrano will suggest a few avatars to reach out to.

This feature will only work after you have been wearing Myrano for a while. At first it will be a bit hit and miss. But always "interesting".

It works very well! Myrano has a quirky definition of "interesting" which belies a simple explanation, so try it out and let us know what you think.

Understand the people around you

Myrano 1.4 has some new features to help you understand the avatars around you.

Regulars - "Come here often?"

Lists the avatars nearby who you have seen here before. This helps you identify regular visitors to the venue. No need to ask "Come here often?" ever again?

Familiar Faces - "Have I seen you somewhere else?"

Lists the avatars you have seen someplace else. This helps you identify avatars you have seen elsewhere - and even stalkers. No need to ask "Have I seen you someplace else?" ever again!

New Faces

Lists avatars you haven't seen before - either here or anywhere or else.

Start Joining the Dots

Ever set eyes on a sexy stranger and think ‘Haven’t we met before?’ or received an IM and blown it by saying ‘I see we met before but I can’t remember where…’?  Myrano remembers.

Ever had the feeling someone was following you but as hard as you try to remember where and when, the memory escapes you?  Myrano remembers.

Ever meet a past customer and want to make them feel special by remembering details on where you last served them but you just can’t remember where that was?  Myrano remembers.

Myrano helps you remember what's happening with the avatars around you. Like an extension of your own memory, Myrano sees what your avatar can see – but Myrano is always paying attention and won’t forget.  Myrano can't know of things that happened when you weren’t present, but it will report what happened in your presence and relates it personally to you!
